As an apprentice you can earn while you learn, gaining hands on experience in areas of the business relevant to your role. With a range of roles on offer, you’re bound to find your future career.

A day in the life of an apprentice at Breedon...

Apprenticeship recruitment timeline

February: Apply and connect

Applications sought, collated and reviewed.

March - April: Explore and assess

Interviews conducted, providing opportunities for apprentices to meet the hiring team, ask questions, and learn more about Breedon. 

April: Offers

Formal offers extended to selected apprentices.

April - August: Introductions

Onsite tours arranged, allowing apprentices to familiarise themselves with the work environment.  "Meet the team" sessions and introductions to college and training providers..

September: Welcome to Breedon

Onboarding, consisting of three days of orientation and induction meetings – with overnight accommodation paid for.

There are so many options for young people to consider regarding their future and making the best choice at a young age is going to be a tough decision.

What is an apprenticeship?
  • An apprenticeship is a job with training which allows young people to earn while they learn, whilst working to accredited body standards.
  • Our apprentices are supported all the way through their apprenticeship with a dedicated job coach/mentor.
